The development of a strong, competent, classified staff is essential to the smooth functioning of a school system. The Board expects all employees to make continuous efforts to improve their work and expects their supervisors to assist them through supervision and the evaluation process.
The Board delegates to the Superintendent the responsibility for developing evaluation procedures for all classified personnel with the evaluations made of the support staff conducted for the purpose of improving the functioning of the school system. Evaluation of support staff is not a contractual obligation of the School District and such evaluation or the lack of such evaluation shall not be a condition for either the termination or the retention of any employee.
