EEBA Policy - School Owned Vehicles

The Board recognizes that there are students and employees who must travel on behalf of the school either on school activities or to conduct the business of the district. It is also the belief of the Board that the business of the school district and the educational program are better served when a means of transportation is provided by the district.

The Board acknowledges the unusually great distances involved in attending state meetings and students activities outside the district boundaries, and the necessity to provide district-owned transportation.

Safe and reliable transportation will be the minimum standard in providing school vehicles for the transportation of school employees and students.

The Superintendent will be responsible for developing rules and regulations which will be in addition to the regulations relating to the transportation of students.
